Our universe exists directly above another, two universes that exist parallel, a thin fabric separating these two plains of existence.
One, our own.. all started with the "Big Bang" the other was much alike a test tube gone wrong.. odd lifeforms began to form in the chaos of this universe, the atomic structure that exists in that universe similar to bacteria.. spreading and infecting other organisms, growing upon the surface of what little rocks had formed, very rarely were planets in the "Eloik Void" left uncorrupt by the void's nightmarish grasping horrors.
Humanity had discovered it wasn't alone in the earth year "2968" that was also the year it discovered the true nature of the "Cycles"
